How to Donate
Why Give?
The true joy of generosity is a wonderful part of human life. By giving, we are modeling ourselves after our loving God, whose abundant, generous giving fills our lives. Your generosity enables the United Church to love, serve and minister in the world.
To support our Carlisle United Church ministry and mission financially, you may give by means of weekly envelopes, by using PAR (“Pre-authorized Remittance”, monthly bank withdrawal) or through online donation (by VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).
Weekly Envelopes
Contact the Church office to request envelopes for your family (secretary@carlisleuc.ca).
PAR (“Pre-Authorized Remittance”)
These days many people find it convenient to look after financial obligations by automatic deductions from their bank account.
Our church offers the opportunity to give regularly by pre-authorized remittance. In this way we as contributors can offer consistent support to our church and avoid “catch up” periods. The congregation benefits by receiving a regular flow of contributions, reducing paperwork and bank overdrafts, especially during the summer months. Cards are available at the back of the church so that PAR contributors can “put something on the offering plate” as it is passed on Sunday.

Online Donation (Square)
Do you want to make a special donation? Did you miss a service or two and realize you did not make your regular donation? Get caught up with your donations from the warmth and comfort of your own home.
Carlisle United Church has a convenient online portal with Square
(https://squareup.com/store/carlisle-united-church) so you can easily make donations on-line.
The Square app was created to make giving simple. It’s fast, secure and convenient.
Donations in Memory of a Loved One
Do you want to make a special donation in tribute to a loved one?
Please use the "In Memoriam" section of Carlisle United Church's Square site
(https://carlisle-united-church.square.site/in-memoriam). There is a note field in which you can indicate for whom the gift is given.
Receipts
An official income tax receipt will be issued for all donations. All receipts are issued at the end of the calendar year.

You may wish to support Carlisle United Church is a particular way that is meaningful to you and your family. These are some possibilities:
