Prayer
We are a people who seek to experience and honour God in our lives. Prayer is a pathway to a relationship with God that takes many forms. As we open ourselves to God in prayer, God touches our lives and, through us, may also touch others. We are all learners. You are welcome to join us in learning to pray and in practicing prayer.
Prayer Circle
We invite people to gather in the Church parlour on the second Monday of each month at 12:45 p.m. to spend an hour praying together. We pray for one another, for the work and life of our Church, for people who are ill or bereaved and for special prayer requests. This is intended to be a time rich in connecting and sharing. Specific dates for the Prayer Circle are noted in the Events Calendar.
Prayer Requests
At Carlisle United there is a prayer team who commit to praying daily for specific requests. Everyone, church members and those from the wider community, are encouraged to ask for prayers.
Requests can be left in the prayer box on the desk inside the side entrance to the church. Or people may phone the Church office at 689-8630 and leave a message for the prayer team. Or you may send a Prayer request using this online Prayer Request Form.
Prayer requests will be kept confidential. It is our privilege to support our friends through prayer.
