World Day of Prayer

The World Day of Prayer is an international annual event,
sponsored in Canada by the
Women's Inter-Church Council
of Canada.
Christians in over 170 countries
are invited to unite on a common day
to pray about issues concerning
women and children.
Every year, the service is written by contributors in a different country.
This year the service has been written
by Christian women
in the Cook Islands.
The theme is "I Made You Wonderful",
Psalm 139:1-18.
Carlisle United Church is hosting the World Day of Prayer
on Friday March 7 at 1:00 pm
We will be showing the video presentation prepared by the Cook Islanders,
followed by fellowship and refreshments.
Admission is by Free-will Donation
Donations support grants, funding a range of inspiring grassroots projects.
